Hi, I’m Christa Price Murphy, a lifetime (minus a few years in NYC) resident of Bexley, Ohio and I love this community! Beginning with my mom and aunt as my piano teachers, I learned from many different music instructors, including a few piano teachers, and wonderfully influential music teachers during my time in Bexley City Schools - (Thanks Mr. McManus, Mrs. White, Mrs. Larson, Mrs. Hepp, and Mr. Schneider, too!!) 

These teachers offered a variety of musical experiences that shaped who I was as a musician, leader, educator, and person. I would not be the same without them! 

Working towards a degree in Music Education from THE Ohio State University just made sense, and from the minute I graduated, I was off and running! There have always been piano students in and out of my home, welcoming many families into more than just my career, but also my life. Over a year ago I even came full circle when I hired my first piano teacher, who was a previous piano student of mine! With the most supportive husband - shout out to Mr. BAM (Jeff) - and some amazingly patient and awesome kiddos (2 boys and one more baby on the way), I have been able to continue adding to the musical traditions I was blessed with, and opened up BAM officially the summer of 2023!

With the unwavering support of the Bexley and surrounding neighborhoods, alongside cherished family and friends, BAM has blossomed into a haven of musical connection, collaboration, and camaraderie! Step through our doors, and you’ll immediately sense the warm embrace of a community where every individual is valued, accepted, and celebrated.
